2. Scope of Services
We provide an online platform that connects:
- Guests/students seeking accommodations with
- Hosts/partners offering residences, homestays, or apartments.
We act solely as an intermediary and do not own, operate, or manage the properties directly, unless otherwise stated.
3. User Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Respect the property, house rules, and host guidelines during your stay.
- Be financially responsible for all bookings, fees, damages, or services booked under your account.
- Confirm legal guardian authorization when the user is a minor, where applicable.
4. Host / Partner Responsibilities
Hosts and partners agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date property information (availability, pricing, rules, facilities).
- Maintain the property in a safe, clean, and habitable condition.
- Comply with all applicable municipal, provincial, and federal housing, safety, and tax regulations.
- Honor confirmed bookings except in cases of force majeure or legal impossibility.
5. Bookings and Payments
- Bookings are confirmed only once payment (full or partial) has been received, unless otherwise stated.
- Prices may change but will not affect confirmed bookings.
- Payment terms, deposits, cancellation conditions, and applicable taxes are disclosed at the time of booking.
- Users are responsible for bank fees, transaction charges, currency conversion fees, and local taxes.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation and refund policies vary by property and are disclosed at booking.
- Refund eligibility depends on the specific policy applicable to the reservation.
- No-shows, early departures, or violations of house rules are generally non-refundable.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
- Lamimo is not a party to accommodation agreements between hosts and guests.
- We are not responsible for disputes between hosts and guests, but may assist with mediation when possible.
- Lamimo is not liable for loss, theft, injury, or damage to personal belongings during a stay.
- Hosts are solely responsible for the condition, safety, legality, and compliance of their properties.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use the platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities.
- Misrepresent their identity or provide false information.
- Damage property, disturb others, or violate local laws.
- Upload or transmit harmful, misleading, offensive, or unlawful content.
9. Intellectual Property
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written authorization.
All website content, including logos, trademarks, text, images, designs, and branding, is the property of Lamimo or its licensors.
10. Privacy and Personal Information
You have the right to access, rectify, or withdraw consent regarding your personal information, subject to legal limitations.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montréal, Québec.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
